On a private tour with a naturalist guide, you will enter Hacienda Barú, a pristine 800-acre National Wildlife Refuge situated on Costa Rica’s Southern Pacific Coast. It is one of the few places on the Pacific Coast where a strip of forest comes down to three kilometers of protected beach. Hacienda Barú encompasses a variety of habitats, from wetlands and secondary rain forests in the lowlands to primary rain forest on the highland coastal ridge.
