Beauty surrounds you everywhere you turn in Costa rica. Every view is filled with vibrant, blooming flowers that pop amidst the vast variety of green trees.
The landscape of our property highlights the best and most beautiful contributions of flowers to be found in the country. It is a botanist’s dream. Bright red Hibiscus and Verenero line the gates upon entry creating the feeling of entering a secret garden. Morning Glory blue trumpet vines cover the walkway creating a magical feeling as you find your way to your villa. Different types of palms such as Red Tiger, Fenix, and Cubana surround the property. You will find Heliconia and Ginger flowers hiding harmoniously between leaves of all shades, shapes, and sizes. Jasmin, Mosaendra Blanca, and happy pink and orange Ixora Nora shrubs create a serene garden scene. Some of the plants have fun names like Viajero meaning traveler, Cola de Gallo which means rooster tail, Escalerilla de Mono- Monkey Ladder, and Lingua de Suegra which means mother in law’s tongue. An interesting sight here are plants such as Lluvia de Oro (gold rain) growing out of the base trunk of the trees.
We have a curated collection of potted plants and ferns that we move around until they find their perfect place here. The Cinnamon tree leaves smell amazing and the blooming Sabana trees this time of year are extravagant.

“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.” Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden
